Because this specimen is so worn, it's hard to
tell for sure which species this is. It is one or the
other. I found it in the
mountains above American Fork on the Tibble Fork dirt

Both of these species have a large "X" formed on
their wings by the white spots. You can see the "X"
if you tilt your head slightly to the right and look at the
upper wing. Also, both species are found in the
mountains but I think the Two-banded is more prevalent in
Northern Utah. © Carol
