Beewolves are solitary wasps and are beautiful with their sharply contrasting yellow and black
coloring.  They also
have a pitted appearance to their abdomen, which makes them stand out
from most other wasps.  © Carol Davis, 8-26-2012

beewolf face
What a cute face and beautiful eyes.  They are many species of these sweet wasps, too, and the ones
I have run across are not
the least bit aggressive.  Discover Creation has a nice article
on Beewolves.  © Carol Davis, 8-26-2012
