"Black-and-gray Leafcutter"
Megachile melanophaea

megachile melanophaea
Black-and-gray Leafcutter near a stream in Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was
mudding with some other leafcutters and mason bees.  They all were pretty
territorial and driving each other away from the mud. This species was
not quite as territorial - it just waited for an opportunity to move in.
