Species unknown
I would love to have been present during the
building of this tiny mud nest formed between
two bricks at my home in Taylorsville, Salt Lake
County, Utah. There's even a little twig at the
top to reinforce the opening. I have no idea what
insect made this. Some little wasp, I suppose.
