This tiny insect was walking up the foundation of my house. I
knew it was something different.

After I looked at the photos I was pretty sure it was a
Springtail. These tiny insects feed
on decaying matter. I had only seen one other springtail and I
discovered it in a photo
I had taken of lichen at Clear Lake WMF near Delta, Utah.
According to a comment
on Bugguide.net, Springtails have tiny "taste" organs on the tips of
their antennae
that are used to distinguish edible from non-edible. ©
