Thirteen-spotted
Lady Beetle
Hippodamia tredecimpunctata
This large Ladybug caught my attention on Antelope Island
because it was rather early in the
year to see one and it was larger than our regular run-of-the-mill
ladybugs. After I downloaded the
pictures from my camera, it was evident this was a new species for
me. Like all Ladybugs, this one
eats aphids. © Carol Davis, 4-18-2010
