Common Grass Veneer
Crambus praefectellus

common grass veneer moth
Crambus praefectellus as larvae feed on grass and grain.  These are common yard moths and you can
find them at porch lights or just flitting through the grass.  They have beautiful markings for such a
destructive species.  This one was in Taylorsville, Utah. © Carol Davis, 7-1-2009
