Cutworm Moth   (three photos)
Euxoa idahoensis

Euxoa idahoensis

You have to take your photos where you can get them. This moth was flying around my house and landed
on a note to myself I had hanging on my bathroom mirror. I had to white out the writing and I'm just leaving
the gold border for your viewing pleasure.  This photo shows the under wings.  Carol Davis 6-5-2014

This moth, formerly identified on this site as Euxoa auxiliaris, was found in Taylorsville, Utah.  There is a
good article about them at Pacific Northwest Moths. Carol Davis 9
