Plume Moth
Genus Hellinsia (possible)

possible Hellinisa pluma moth
Plume Moth larvae are leaf rollers or stem borers of plants (according to Bugguide).  I thought this adult I found in
St. George, Utah was
particularly angel-like with the "feathers" hanging down off the wings. I think it might have
been a spider victim since I had to clone out a bazillion bugs surrounding this moth. © Carol Davis 9-18-2015
