This time of year on Antelope Island there are a thousand
gazillion (and I'm not exaggerating) Neoscona spiders with
their tough webs strung between the rabbitbrush.  They are so
beneficial.  This gives an idea of the size of prey that they are capable
of capturing.   I think the prey may be a cicada..  Carol Davis, 7-17-2008
