Thiodina Hespera on the Emerald Pools trail in
Zion National Park. A friend pointed her out to me and I knew
immediately she was a special spider. This is the only species of
thiodina in the western U.S. She was so slow
moving I thought she might be in the last stages of "pregnancy".
