Long-legged Sac Spider
II (three photos)
Cheiracanthium - "Yellow Sac Spider"
I have only found this little yellow sac spider with its
interesting spotted pattern outside in leaves or in crevices.
I have never found one like this in the house, although the
regular-looking
yellow sac spiders from Page I
are all over
my house. So, I don't know if this is a different species or
not. Regardless, these are, arguably, very beautiful
spiders.

All three of these spiders, to my knowledge, still reside in
Taylorsville, UT. I was reading that some
people think they are more green according to how much time they spend
out in the greenery. It's
a theory. This last spider was "hiding" from the camera and not
doing a very good job of it.
